The movie is not something really to write about, it’s rather slow and at times gets boring. And I am not surprised why those little elements of comedy were added in there – just to keep the audience hooked. However, Vidya Balan’s performance is very commendable. She has done a splendid job playing the dual role of Avni, the simpleton bhabi and Manjulika, the revengeful classical dancer. I am sure this would have been a challenge for her after doing some beautiful work in Parineeta.
