What will you remember when you get old?

Last evening I was chatting up with a colleague when she shared something interesting she read a few days back.

Author Luke Sullivan in the last chapter of his book Hey, Whipple, Squeeze This: A Guide to Creating Great Ads says that we all must work hard but we must not sacrifice important social events in our lives like the birth of our child, birthdays of loved ones, weddings and other such moments that we always will cherish.

Because when you get old you will remember all the moments you had missed out on; but you will not remember the campaigns (projects) that you worked on because of which you missed those moments.

So, lets make sure we live life to the fullest with our friends and families and not become workaholic manias.
