Kya SRK banega crorepati (dilon ka)?

It’s back and it’s back with a bang. And this time they even give you a song to dance to the tunes of this all so very popular TV game show – Kaun Banega Crorepati.

First of all, the promotion advert featuring the little boy was a brilliant piece of work (Anybody knows the credits for this one). The concept, storyboard and execution – I loved it. And tonight the show premiered at 9PM. SRK does a item number in this television show. I think it’s choreographed by Ganesh Hegde, but there were a lot of sets, clothes which to me seem to be borrowed from other songs like the Ganesh Hegde song and Adnan Sami-Amitabh Bachchan song. SRK, of course is cool as he can always be. Remembered his neck piece from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which read “COOL”.

My strong stance from the day SRK has been announced as the new host for the show is – Don’t compare the two super heros. Yes, Mr.Bachchan not only did a splendid performance but via KBC (season1) he re-defined the face of Indian television. Now you get SRK who in a certain way brings his own persona and style to the show. Give him a thumbs up and let’s see how it goes.

Tonight, I think he has done a good start for himself and a thousand others who had been waiting to get on to the show and win a few bucks. Dreams of many once again has a chance to come true. And what better than to live it with Mr.Khan.

Coming back to SRK – he changes the color to purple and brings in a new set of energy. I think he will be more popular with the youth because he is more lively, excited and at times even loud on the set. Somewhere he also gets in the tones of a “DON” or a obsessed lover from Darr. And no he hasn’t done the K…k….kiran yet.
