2007- I look back with a PhotoBook

This is going to be the last post for 2007 and as I look back I think it was interesting to start the year on my new job. And all the hard work put in did pay off in a few months when I got a little gift of appreciation. The year could not have ended better at work when I was quoted in one of Mint’s article on Financial Advertising.

A few things I really enjoyed doing this year:

  1. Signed up for twitter and it’s been fun making a lot of new friends.
  2. Participated in the Mumbai Photomarathon. Read the Sunday Diary and you can see the Photo Pool.
  3. Attended my first Blogger’s Meet.
  4. Got tagged by Roop and shared five secrets of my life.
  5. Started blogging the Word Power series.
  6. Wrote an exhaustive Digital Photo Management guide.

And the biggest highlight of the year has to be the purchase of my second digital camera – the Canon EOS Rebel XTi.

2007 was also a fun year for travel: Weekend in Matheran, Visit to ‘sasural’ (in-laws) in Kolkatta, Second honeymoon in Singapore & Bangkok, Monsoon Weekend in Lonavala.

This post would be incomplete without a PhotoBook capturing the moments of 2007. Here is something I created using Jumpcut.

On that note, here is wishing you all "A very Happy New Year" and may you have a blast on the last night of the year as we bring in 2008.
