Pownce and Twitter – The difference

I’ve been thinking on how Pownce and Twitter can be used differently or will they be serving the same purpose. And I think the query was very well answered by this message of aalaap on pownce:

Twitter is more about what you’re doing at the moment, as opposed to Pownce, which is more of a “send this to all my friends” too. I think I’m going to be using both for different things…
