Yesterday I got my Toshiba laptop online. I got myself a Linksys Wireless Broadband router and the simple set-up got me online within just a few minutes. The connection is not bad and I am happy because it’s strong enough in those zones where I am likely to be using the laptop most often. The technician who installed the router was not aware on how the set-up for files and printer sharing could be done between the laptop and PC. So that’s something I will have to figure out over the next few weeks and have it done.
My 64kbps in2cable connection is not keeping very happy with the speeds and down-times. And I am yet waiting for MTNL to give me some good news on the Tri-band services.
