I use Google Talk to update my twitter status. A few minutes back I posted an update which said “end of day’s play … going home now“. Strangely twitter said it was an error: Can’t find that person. Did you misspell the name?
So I decided to go online and see if I can update my status from twitter’s website. And it happened smoothly. I guess commands for IMs do not apply when posting messages from the website. I guess the problem word was “end” which probably tells the system to stop following a user. However the system is not smart enough to predict a missing “@” after the “end”.
Have you noticed any word which won’t let you start a message?
