Hi, welcome to Kapil’s Korner. This is a little corner for me in this big thing called the Internet. I like to keep this place as a contact point and an expression platform for simple (and sometimes not so simple) things happening in my life.

My Work
I am a manager for brand communications at Mudra Communications, one of the leading ad agencies of India. My work involves understanding client requirements and working with the creative teams to generate and implement effective communication plans. I have earliest worked with a cosmetic manufacturing company and an internet solution provider which have given me some great learnings.

Shutterbug
Photographer in the making. I have been once since childhood but I think the digital invasion has made it a lot easier. I currently use a Canon A 510 and make regular uploads to my flickr album. The album is usually a collection of family and friends shot by me and sometimes a few crazy shots also get in there.

Techie, who me?
No geek me. But I like to use my website as a tool to play around with and also use the power of internet for sharing information and a communication channel with others out there. My blogging experience started on 14 July, 2004 when I wanted a common place to share happening websites and interesting articles from the net. It was very irritating to send them to my friends all the time, so I started posting at my blog. Then over the time I have evolved my postings and now try and share the interesting portions of my life (here).

The other side
Besides work, I try and do a good amount of reading and also catch a few movies. No major buff! Sometimes sheer entertainment and once a while craftsmanship attracts me to see off-beat cinema too. Music is something which helps me get charged and also calm down when things are too much to handle. From dance numbers to soulful lounge music I like my playlist to be a good mix.
